This system performs a gas proving test before allowing gas flow, using a solenoid valve and pressure transducer to detect pressure drops or leaks. Once gas is supplied, it continuously monitors gas pressure to ensure that a naked flame is not extinguished due to weak drafts.
The fire alarm input & bypass function provides seamless integration with fire safety systems, allowing the gas supply to shut off in case of an emergency or be bypassed for controlled operations. Additionally, the Merlin GDPX+ integrates with BMS (Building Management Systems), remote emergency stop buttons, and multiple heat detectors for enhanced safety.
With real-time gas detection, this system is compatible with Natural Gas, Carbon Monoxide, LPG, Hydrogen, and Oxygen depletion detectors, offering high-level monitoring and zone-based gas level identification on its full-color TFT display.
