The Grohe 36452000 BauCosmopolitan E is a smart infrared electronic basin mixer tap designed for ultra-hygienic, touchless operation. Crafted in Germany, its crisp lines and chrome StarLight® finish bring clean elegance to any washroom, whether at home or in commercial spaces.
Equipped with a bi-directional infrared sensor, it ensures water flows only when needed, conserving energy and saving water. EcoJoy® technology limits flow to 5.7 L/min at 3 bar without sacrificing performance. The composite polymer body is durable, lead-free, and approved for drinking water.
The external battery box houses a 6V lithium CR-P2 battery, providing up to 7 years of operation with 150 uses per day. Designed for cold or premixed water only, this tap is deck-mounted and features auto-flush, thermal disinfection, and cleaning mode functions—ideal for healthcare and hygiene-critical environments. Additional programmable settings can be controlled via Grohe Remote Control (36407001).
